Sir,
I am Master Sergeant Gary T. Ragsdell, a USAF medic stationed here at RAF Upwood in England. I am writing you to let you know that I have recently taken on a memorial site project cleanup for one of our Pilots [Remember: Capt Donald Roberts] who belonged to the 510FS. I think you will appreciate what we are trying to do for a member of your Squadron. I am also forwarding a few before and now pictures from Aug 2003 - to 10 Oct 2003.
Sincerely,
MSgt Gary T. Ragsdell

MSgt Ragsdell,
On behalf of the US, I'd like to thank you and your team for contributing time/effort for cleaning up the memorial(s).
I cannot speak for the family directly, but indirectly, I think they would be honored that Capt. Robert's memory has been "Renewed". By the looks of things, Mother Nature has reclaimed her property.
Thank you once again for your actions. You've proved once again how big the American Spirit can be!
Sincerely,
David M. Sarvai

Dave,
If you still have MSgt Ragsdell's e-mail, please send him my thanks for his exceptional and greatly appreciated work on Don "DR" Roberts memorial. DR was a good friend, an excellent squadron mate, and a proud Buzzard - glad there are those like MSgt Ragsdell who remember and care.
V/R,
Cassius
