Chief Gaddy monitors and evaluates maintenance performance indicators; identifies, investigates, and corrects adverse safety and maintenance trends. He is responsible for the unit’s over all manning and welfare of its personnel to execute maintenance for the 31st Fighter Wing’s annual Flying Hour Program consisting of more than 6.8K sorties and 10K flying hours, training, and equipping the Combat Air Forces’ most lethal F-16 pilots.

Chief Gaddy grew up in Portsmouth, Virginia and joined the United States Air Force as a Tactical Aircraft Maintainer in 1998. He possesses an extensive background in aviation maintenance management. He has been stationed in Virginia, England, Georgia, Florida, Republic of South Korea, and Nevada. He has experience across eight separate airframes to include the F-15C/D Fighting Eagle, and E model Strike Eagle, the A-10 Warthog, the F-22 Raptor, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, and both the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper. Chief Gaddy additionally spent time managing the inspection sections of a C-130 isochronal inspection element and HH-60 phase dock. He has conducted operations in Saudi Arabia for Operation SOUTHERN WATCH, Afghanistan for Operation FREEDOM SENTINAL and NATO's RESOLUTE SUPPORT mission, and Turkey for Operation INHERENT RESOLVE and NATO's Operation NOMAD SHADOW. Chief Gaddy has been an active member of AFSA since 2010. He has held the positions of Vice President for Chapter 460 and President for Chapter 1263. He has been an active member of each base Top 3 organization and was the president of his squadrons Top 3 overseeing 50 Senior NCO’s. During his stint in these positions he led record high recruitment numbers for both organizations and received recognition from the AFSA Division 2 President.
